Koobikland was a great find when I was looking for a new Middle Eastern restaurant. It is located in a non-descript strip mall. The interior is very attractive, I guess I will coin the term "Persian Chic" to describe it. The staff was attentive and welcoming. The big attraction is the food. This one of the best Persian restaurants that I have found in Orange County. The kabob and koobidah are very well prepared and seasoned, very flavorful. And the food presentation is amazing. The owner and his staff make their diners feel like they are family. This is definitely a restaurant to try.
Walter L.2024-08-31I happen to see this place when I tried Keoni Hawaiian food in the same plaza so I decided to give this place a try on my way to work. The inside is very clean and has a nice interior with plenty of tables and chairs with a piano inside which makes it slightly more upscale. I ordered the lunch special Chicken Koobideh and Mast o' Mousir which is yogurt mixed with shallots. I took to go and the food was still warm and considering I spent about $27 it was good for the price. The lunch even came with pita bread which is a bonus. Everything from the chicken koobideh went together from the rice, the grilled veggies, the pickled onions and cucumbers, and chicken. The yogurt was nice and refreshing also. I would come back and try something else.

The service was very good and i really liked the atmosphere. The device was amazing and the host and the staff were so nice
Pantea A.2024-08-23Food is really good here. My boys enjoyed the dragon roll, basically a cheese hamburger sliced up in a tortilla. All the small pickles and onions and sauces and spices are super enjoyable. we ordered the traditional tray and it came with chicken, beef and Egyptian (jalapeño and beef) kebabs. Food was more than enough for us. Service was great, live music and beautiful restaurant.

Amazing drinks,nice food recepi & designing, perfect servings, good vibes, nice servants and everythings make you satisfied. You can enjoy your weekends with live music as well.

We went there on a slow time and it was just us ( me, my wife and my son) and the owner was kind enough to sit behind the piano and play for us! We are so excited that we discovered such a gem and we will definitely go back to try different dishes. Oh by the way, although everything we tried was very good, the koobideh with chelo latti rice was my favorite. The lamb chenjeh was also sooo tender and juicy and didn't smell at all. Loved it!
Reza M.2024-07-31Tried this place for dinner. We ordered the koobideh combo, eggplant borani, shirazi salad, and baklava. The koobideh was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. It also came with rice and some side veggies. Eggplant borani was flavorful and complimented the meat well. Salad was fresh. Baklava was the right amount of crisp and syrup. Staff was very nice and the decor is tasteful. Would go back!
